Moments That Changed Me

Five moments. One heart changed forever.

I’ve always been someone who pays attention to little moments,

but these moments here were different.

They weren’t just passing thoughts;

they were moments that quietly shifted me…

from who I was to who I’m becoming.

If I had waited for “big life-changing events” to define me,

I would still be waiting.

But these simple, ordinary moments came,

and they changed me deeply.

I hope, as you read, you find your own moments…

the ones quietly waiting to shift you too.

How I Described a Sunday

A particular Sunday came with uneasiness in my heart.

But what I left with was peace,

because I finally opened up about my struggles,

even though I thought everyone else was celebrating.

That day taught me something:

Our stories aren’t complete without our struggles.

Sometimes what people need is not our celebration,

but the tears and the fight behind it.

I Felt What I Used to Observe

Being home made me see my parents’ discomfort again.

I’d always observed it growing up,

but this time, I didn’t just observe it….

I felt it. And feeling it changed me.

It pushed me to do more, to think differently about how I live,

because their story is tied to mine.

Do It Afraid

Fear used to stop me from doing so many things.

Even asking for help felt like drowning.

But one day, I asked anyway…. and it changed me.

I realized:

Fear doesn’t drown you; silence does.

Ask for help, even when your heart is shaking.

It Can Only Be God

How else do you explain a girl with flaws, struggles,

and imperfections doing what she never imagined?

I didn’t have the knowledge or the strength,

but God sent people my way,

rooted me in His plans,

and gave me the courage to dream beyond me.

It can only be God. Grace is quiet, but its results are loud.

I Almost Didn’t Send That Message

One of my boldest steps wasn’t preaching in public….

it was sending one simple message.

I typed, deleted, and almost gave up.

But I sent it anyway,

to the platform that inspired me to write boldly.

The reply shocked me….

the support, the love, the recognition.

It taught me:

Sometimes, it’s not fear holding us back,

but the lack of boldness to take one step forward.

These moments weren’t dramatic or loud,

but they shaped me….quietly, softly, deeply.

Maybe you have your own moments too,

moments that quietly changed you.

Don’t overlook them.

Write them down, hold them close,

and let them shift you into who you’re becoming.
